Alexis Escabi, long time student of Ted Hanulak Sensei since 1994, has now opened the Aikijutsu Academy of New York City at 257 W. 39th Street New York N.Y. 10018 and is excepting new students. Mr. Escabi is the former owner of the Aikijutsu Academy of Puerto Rico.

At the Aikijutsu Academy of New York City, One can study the Japanese martial art of Senso-Ryu Aikijutsu and Zen meditation. Senso-Ryu Aikijutsu is a very effective form of self defense and used by many in law enforcement and private security. Senso-Ryu Aikijutsu is taught in a traditional fashion but applicable to modern times. At the Aikijutsu Academy of New York City, martial arts and meditation are taught in conjunction with one another. Meditation is very valuable for mindfulness training and general overall heath. Reiki classes are also available. Reiki is a form of Japanese spiritual practice.
